dNovo is a law firm specialized in business law. With clarity, expertise and heart, they offer legal solutions to generate better business for their clients. In a kinda conservative trade, they wanted their identity to better reflect the new type of law firm they aim to be.

Lawyers. What comes to mind when you hear that word? Suits, super heavy rectangular books, words you don't quite understand. No, thank you!
When developing dNovo's new visual identity, we wanted it to reflect clarity, expertise, and heart – just like dNovo does. We’re talking jeans. Circular shapes. Dynamic and warm. Personal, yet professional. If you ask us, and dNovo for that matter, we think we nailed it.
Ok. So what exactly did we do, then? A tweaked logo, enhancing the soft and circular. A timeless typeface, used in a modern, almost experimental, way.
A broad and flexible colour palette that signals both maturity and playfulness, with hints of Gothenburg. Three icons to showcase dNovo’s values. And a photographic language that ditches stock photos in favor of an authentic glimpse into law life.
But it’s not just about looking great. It’s a way to communicate. To get people on board with dNovo’s passion for what they do and their constant quest for new things.
Calling it quits with the law trade’s conservative norms and stiff suits, in order to create nicer, closer and better relationships with clients. The dNovo way.
